About us

Located in Sydney’s CBD, Active Live Haymarket is the training and wellbeing destination for staff at the Commonwealth Bank of Australia. With around 35 classes a week targeting the key areas of strength, cardio fitness and mobility, our programming offers time-efficient training with purpose.

Led by Active Live’s highly experienced coaches, our workouts will enable you to achieve the greatest results in the most time-efficient manner – and with a smile on your face! Sessions differ in duration and format, so you’ll never get bored and will always stimulate greater results.

Open Monday to Friday, we kick things off with our daily 6:45am session for the pre-work early-birds and keep going until the early evening so you can fit in a session just before heading home after work. For just $77 per week you have access to unlimited group training sessions. Check out the classes and other services we offer below.

MONDAY

STRENGTH EXPRESS

30 MINUTES

Short and sharp! A fun strength challenge using your own bodyweight as well as equipment, to get you feeling stronger than ever. All levels.

TUESDAY

CARDIO ENDURO

45 MINUTES

Heart pumping cardio endurance mixed circuit. Any running is done outside, with a range of cardio equipment back inside the studio, like rowers, ski ergs and assault bikes + more. All levels.

WEDNESDAY

PURE STRENGTH

45 MINUTES

Get stronger and perfect your technique using barbells, dumbbells, kettlebells + more. If you want to increase muscle mass and tone, this is the class for you. All levels.

THURSDAY

CARDIO EXPRESS

30 MINUTES

Time to challenge your fitness like never before. Reach that cardio bliss in less time! A fun mix of moves to get your heart racing, using bodyweight and cardio equipment. All levels.

FRIDAY

STRENGTH ENDURO

45 MINUTES

Challenge yourself for a little longer. Strength focus, usually combined with some cardio and core work. Test your muscle endurance and finish your week feeling super strong. All levels.

A mix of Dynamic, ending with slow, yin style yoga with holding stretches and meditation. A perfect balance to the rest of your week. All levels.

MAT PILATES

Strengthen your body’s “powerhouse” – abdominals, lower back muscles, pelvic floor, hips and glutes. Feel stronger through your core and reduce back pain. Improve flexibility and posture, with stretching included as part of this class. Equipment and mats provided. All levels.

ACTIVE LIVE APP

The Active Live app enables you to check timetables, book single or recurring workout sessions, track your visit history and keep workout scores and times in your personal Workout Diary.

PERSONAL TRAINING

1-on-1 Personal Training

We offer 30-min session for $55 and 45-min sessions for $70 with our highly skilled Personal Trainers and have a flexible pay-as-you-go policy. Sessions can be booked from Monday to Friday outside of class times.

PLUS, show us your commitment and we’ll reward you with our BUY 9 GET 1 FREE deal! Choose a package of 10 x 30min sessions for $495 OR 10 x 45min sessions for $630 (packages valid for 4 months).

Private small group Personal Training

We also offer private small group training. If you have a corporate group or team of friends who would like to train together, we are happy to accommodate this.

Sore muscles? Aches and pains? Over stimulated? Get back on track by booking a massage session with our expert remedial and sports massage therapist, Cynthia Talone. With over 20 years’ experience easing aching muscles with her healing hands, you’ll soon be marking Wednesday as your favourite day of the week!

Enjoy the guidance of our resident Health Coach, Danielle Ryder, who has experienced the demands of juggling corporate life with raising a young family. Danielle can work with you on a holistic plan that suits your specific needs.
